  • At Kindred Society, we value your satisfaction with your hair above all else. We understand that sometimes, your hair may not meet your expectations. That's why we have a policy in place to address such concerns. Here's what happens if you're not loving your hair:

    Step 1: If your hair isn't exactly what you wanted, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment. We kindly request that you visit the salon so that we can assess your hair and determine if the dissatisfaction is a result of an error on our part. This step allows us to understand your concerns and find a way to rectify the situation.

    Step 2: We're committed to ensuring that you love your hair. Once we've determined the cause of the dissatisfaction, we will pair you with a stylist who is best suited to fulfill your needs. This stylist will work closely with you to fix exactly what you're not liking about your hair. Your happiness with your hair is our ultimate goal. By following these steps, we hope to address any concerns you may have promptly and deliver the hair you desire.

    In conclusion, it is crucial to emphasize that in situations where we find a client altering their decision or when it becomes evident that achieving the desired look would require additional steps and services, our firm stance is to guide the client towards the recommended path. We firmly believe that following the suggested course of action will yield the desired outcome. Alternatively, we may propose a way to revert to the original look if appropriate. It is important to keep in mind that our primary goal is to ensure client satisfaction and offer the most efficient solutions to achieve the desired result. By aligning our approach with the client's needs and preferences, we can guarantee a successful and harmonious outcome.

  • Your service at Kindred Society will begin with a consultation with the stylist of your choice. Taking into consideration the look you would like to achieve and the nature of your hair, your stylist will suggest the best suited style and color techniques for you. Kindred Society will always put the integrity of your hair as our number one priority. If necessary, Kindred Society will require a signed contract to ensure you understand the process(es) it takes to achieve your desired look.

  • Prices are determined by our stylist tier system (for more info please refer to our stylist page). Pricing may increase due to stylist achievements and education but Kindred Society will always make sure to update clients on every stylist achievement and promotions. We believe that tipping should be left to the discretion of our clients. For that reason, gratuities are not included in any service and only allowed in the form of cash or stylist venmo. We do not allow tips to be done on credit cards.

  • Confirmation texts will be sent to all clients at the time of scheduling and also two days before the appointment. Please remember these texts are a courtesy to our clients. Please understand it is your responsibility to remember your appointment and time to avoid any type of cancelation fee. If you need to check on your scheduled appointments you are always welcome to call.

    → If you OPT OUT of promotional text messages from Kindred Society, you will no longer receive confirmation texts for your scheduled appointments. If you want to OPT BACK IN it is as simple as texting UNSTOP to 833-350-7406. We try to limit all promotional texting to 2-3 times a month and the purpose behind these texts are to keep you in the loop with discounts, updates, and events.

  • As a new client, to the salon or to the stylist, you will receive a text message three days before your appointment directing you to fill out a simple consultation form. The purpose of this form is to inform your stylist exactly what you were hoping to achieve at your scheduled appointment. Filling out this form will help to prevent miscommunications between you and your stylist.

  • All services require a valid credit card on file to reserve your appointment time. Appointments that are cancelled, rescheduled or no-show with less than 24 hours notice will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled services.

    The purpose of this cancellation policy is to enable us to inform our standby clients of any availability, keep our schedule filled, thus providing better service for each one of our established and future clients.

    → Kindred Society is PCI compliant so please do not worry if your card information will be safe in our system! As soon as all card information is entered into our secure system it is automatically encrypted. IF you do not feel comfortable having your card information stored to reserve your appointment time, you may put down a deposit in the form of a gift card.

  • We recommend that you schedule your future services while still at the salon. Many stylists schedule fill months in advance and we want to be sure you get the time you want! Every month Kindred Society runs a “book three appointments” promotion! If you schedule three appointments you can be entered in a raffle to win fun, trendy prizes!

  • Kindred Society carries KEVIN.MURPHY, REDKEN, Pureology, Mizani, and OLAPLEX in salon. We also sell a variety of different products on our online store front! Please refer to our “Shop Products” tab to shop online!

    We exclusively work with the REDKEN color line.

  • Every month Kindred Society runs promotions for discounted products! Is your favorite product not on sale this month? No worries, check back next month! Please refer to our “News” tab for more information!

    Depending on availability, we will offer discounted services for clients that would like to schedule last minute appointments! This can happen once or twice a month and will be promoted on Instagram, Facebook and via email! Follow us at @kindredsocietyhair

  • If you are unsure how to schedule an appointment online OR if you are unsure what services you want, please call the salon to help with the appointment set up as this will avoid scheduling errors and upset clients.

    If your stylist does not have time for your desired appointments please do not adjust your services to squeeze in. All appointments erroneously scheduled will result in immediate cancellation. If you wish to leave wet, please call and speak with a receptionist so they may verify the technician is able to accommodate the color portion of your service within the allotted time.
